Vivo S2 FE Launches in India on October 6 With a 10,000mAh Battery Tipped

Vivo S2 FE Launches in India on October 6 With a 10,000mAh Battery Tipped

Can you imagine a phone with a 10,000mAh battery? If the leaks are right, the vivo S2 FE could be exactly that, and it launches in India next week.

I’ve been a fan of vivo’s mid-range phones for a while now, especially their designs. In today’s post, we’ll be looking at the vivo S2 FE to see what we know so far. Here’s what we’ll cover: launch date, design, what the leaks say, the V80 Lite connection, and price.

Launch Date

Vivo has confirmed that the S2 FE launches in India on October 6, 2026, at 12 noon. It launches alongside the vivo V80, and it will be sold on Flipkart.

Design

Flipkart’s teaser page already shows the design. You get a flat green back and a rounded-square camera island with the two cameras stacked vertically. That’s different from the side-by-side layout on the regular vivo S2. Vivo also confirms it runs OriginOS.

What the Leaks Say

The rest comes from leaks, so take it with a pinch of salt. The S2 FE is tipped to come with:

  • A 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen at 120Hz
  • The MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chip, with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage
  • A 50MP Sony main camera, a 2MP secondary camera and a 32MP selfie camera
  • A massive 10,000mAh battery with 44W charging
  • IP68 and IP69 ratings
  • A body about 8.75mm thick, weighing about 225g

If the battery is true, this would be vivo’s first 10,000mAh phone in India. To be honest, that’s the part that has me most excited.

The V80 Lite Connection

The S2 FE is reportedly a rebrand of the vivo V80 Lite 5G, which launched in Malaysia in September with almost the same specs. Vivo hasn’t confirmed that yet.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • A 10,000mAh battery is tipped
  • Fresh vertical camera design
  • IP68 and IP69 ratings (tipped)
  • 1.5K AMOLED screen (tipped)

Cons

  • Most specs are still unconfirmed
  • The leaked price feels high for a Dimensity 7300e phone
  • At around 225g, it could be heavy

Price

A leaked box price puts the S2 FE at Rs 39,999 for 6GB+128GB, which is around ₦580,000. Of course, the final price may come in lower.

Finally, is the vivo S2 FE worth waiting for? Here’s my verdict.

If the 10,000mAh battery is real, yes. On the other hand, vivo Nigeria doesn’t sell the S series, so it won’t come here under this name. That said, vivo does sell V series phones in Nigeria, so the V80 Lite could show up. I’ll keep an eye on it.
