Think the iPhone 18 Pro is already expensive? Caviar just made one that costs more than a brand-new car in some places, and some models don’t even have cameras.
I’ve been following Caviar’s luxury phones for a while now, and every collection somehow tops the last one. In today’s post, we’ll be looking at Caviar’s new Black Edition collection to see what you get for over $10,000. Here’s what we’ll cover: the lineup, the camera-free models, exclusivity, and price.

The Lineup
The Black Edition covers the iPhone 18 Pro and Apple’s first foldable, the iPhone Duo. As the name suggests, everything is black.
- Supersonic (iPhone 18 Pro): a satin black titanium back inspired by stealth jets. About $10,770
- Versus (iPhone 18 Pro): black crocodile leather with black titanium and exposed screws. About $10,560
- Ultimate (iPhone Duo): brushed black titanium. About $13,990
- Titanium (iPhone Duo): crocodile leather with deep black titanium. About $13,410
- Signature and Prestige: crocodile leather with 999 gold accents. Prices not reported yet
The Camera-Free Models
Now, this is where it gets interesting. The Supersonic and Ultimate models have their rear cameras removed and the front camera disabled. A phone with no camera sounds strange at first. According to Caviar, they’re made for people who work in places where cameras are banned, like secure company or government sites.

Exclusivity
Each model is limited to just 19 numbered units. It ships in a lockable box with a gold-plated coin. Of course, you won’t find prices on Caviar’s own site. The prices here come from Notebookcheck and Gizmochina, and you order through a Caviar manager.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Unique all-black designs you won’t see anywhere else
- Only 19 units per model
- Camera-free options for secure workplaces
- Premium materials: titanium, crocodile leather and gold
Cons
- Over $10,000 for the iPhone 18 Pro models
- Removing the cameras takes away one of the iPhone’s best features
- No official prices on Caviar’s site
Price
The Versus starts at about $10,560, which is around ₦14,626,000. The Ultimate is about $13,990, which is around ₦19,376,000, before shipping and duties. For context, the regular iPhone Duo launched at $1,999. Caviar ships internationally, so you can order one from Nigeria.
Finally, should you get a Caviar Black Edition iPhone? Here’s my verdict.
To be honest, this one is for collectors and people who want something nobody else has. If you just want a great iPhone, the regular iPhone 18 Pro does the job for a fraction of the price.
