Apple Releases AirPods Pro 3

The newest model of Apple's wireless earbuds, the AirPods Pro 3, has been formally released. It promises to improve music quality, fitness monitoring, and smart features. The product will be available starting on Friday, September 19, and pre-orders will open today. A revised acoustic system, improved microphones, and foam-infused ear tips for improved passive isolation enable the new AirPods Pro 3 to block out twice as much noise as their predecessor and up to four times more than the original model. Now, users can listen for up to eight hours with ANC enabled, which is a 33% increase in battery life over the AirPods Pro 2.

Additionally, Apple has changed the in-ear fit based on findings from more than 100,000 hours of testing and more than 10,000 ear scans. In addition to being more stable, the new design is smaller and comes with ear tips in five sizes, including a new XXS option. The earbuds have an IP57 rating, which makes them more resilient for outdoor use and exercise. They are also perspiration and water resistant.

It also now has heart rate sensors because of a specially designed infrared PPG sensor. Users can track more than 50 different workouts, calculate the number of calories burned, and get real-time motivational insights with the new Apple Workout Buddy function especially when it is linked to a Fitness app. Onscreen performance information like heart rate and calories burnt are included through integration with Apple Fitness+.

Live Translation is another noteworthy feature that is currently under beta testing. With translations sent straight through the earphones, users may have real-time discussions in several languages using Apple Intelligence and computational audio. The languages that are supported at launch are English, French, German, Portuguese, and Spanish. Later this year, Italian, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese will be added. Additionally, the AirPods Pro 3 extend on Apple's hearing health features by providing enhanced hearing tests, increased Hearing Protection in the UK and EU, and automatic Conversation Boost for noisier surroundings. A 67% boost in battery life has been made to 10 hours per charge in transparency mode.

According to John Ternus, Apple’s senior vice president of Hardware Engineering the Airpod pro 3 is the next chapter in personal audio.
